SHOCK AS TEN NOW CONFIRMED DEAD IN HORRIFIC FIRE

first_imgThe emergency services at the scene of this morning’s fire which killed ten people.A total of ten people, including a number of children, are now confirmed dead following a fire in Carrickmines in Dublin.Prayers have been said at masses across Donegal this morning for the victims of tragedy.The dead include a mother, father and their five children, including a six month old baby girl.One of the children who had been brought to hospital by ambulance has now been confirmed to be deceased. Emergency services were called to a halting site on Glenamuck Road at around 4am this morning.RTE has said it is understood that most if not all the victims were members of two families.Dublin Fire Service has said advanced paramedics risked their lives to rescue children from the blaze.They said that a number of children were brought to safety, but their condition is not yet known.
