Nelson Fat Tire Festival turns 20 this weekend.An event, for kids from two to 72 to enjoy that salutes the memory of avid cyclist Cam Alexander, the Nelson Fat Tire Festival kicks off Thursday at the Rosemont All Wheel Bike Park.Opening night is set-aside for timed Pump Track Races and the Open Jump Jam.  Must be a cycling club member to participate; Pump Track Races are $2 for each timed lap or 5 for $5. Friday, the event moves to Baker Street for the Bike Parade, beginning at 5:45 p.m. and followed by the Show’n’Shine.last_img
